It was a great honour to work with R.Durtnell & Son on this complicated project. The project was situated in central London. As a part of the refurbishment the building had an additional floor added on. There was a 40m Haki staircase erected at the rear elevation of this project for fire evacuation and for the extra floor. The roof had to sale past up to another 22m.
2400 square meters independent scaffolding.
1950 square meters of temporary roof.
Q erected a heavy duty gantry (30m x 5m x 4m) to take a two ton load, to carry passengers, goods hoist and 500 kg lifting beam hoist. 50% ofthe tubes used for erection were aluminium to reduce the weight of the structure significantly . We provided designed Drawings and full calculations.
We also organised alarms, lights, pavement license and parking suspensions
